Notes:
- The team again sold jerseys at the Convention and sold via various gameworn groups and email lists.
- The regular season jerseys typically have 11-12 and a 1 or 2 written in the neck to denote the set. Some jerseys may not have the writing in the neck, particularly if they were not on the roster to begin the set. They also have serial numbered set tags with the crossed tommies.
- The Hawks wore a new set of jerseys denoted ‘P-1 12’ in the neck.
- Reebok switched from the Vector logo this season and featured what is known as the ‘wordmark’ logo on the back of the neck of the jerseys. The wordmark is just as it sounds, rather than the Reebok logo, it’s just the word ‘Reebok’.
- Many of the wordmark jerseys had the logo sewn onto a piece of material and sewn over the older Vector logo. This continued for several seasons as the team used up the older stock, particularly the rarely used smaller sizes. There were jerseys used in 11-12 without the sew-over, but most had it.
- Also of note, inside the neck of the jersey the RBK with the Vector logo was replaced by ‘Reebok’ on jerseys without the sewn-over Vector logo.
- Hawks goalies had 3 jerseys issued to them and they change between periods. They wear the same 3 all season. A few other players also wore multiple jerseys – including Jonathan Toews.
- A Shirt Off Their Back Night (SOTB) or Fan Appreciation Night jersey being given out to ‘random’ attendees of the last home game of the season. This practice continued until the early 2010’s. In some years, the jersey contained special tagging, the 03-04 & 08-09 jerseys are confirmed to have a Fan Appreciation set tag similar to the patch sewn in the other jerseys in this era. In all letters that have surfaced that came with these jerseys, they are worded “Congratulations on winning…” rather than “Congratulations on purchasing…”. The Hawks typically wore a new set of jerseys for the SOTB promotions, although there may have been a season or two where they were worn longer.
