Notes:
- The team again sold jerseys at the Convention and sold via various gameworn groups and email lists.
- The regular season jerseys typically have 1-13-14 or 2-13-14 written in the neck to denote the set. Some jerseys may not have the writing in the neck, particularly if they were not on the roster to begin the set. They also have serial numbered set tags with the 4 feathers from the crest.
- The Hawks wore a new set of jerseys denoted ‘P-14’ in the neck.
- The Blackhawks took part in the Stadium Series of outdoor games on 3/1/14, their second outdoor games where they played the Pittsburgh Penguins at Soldier Field in Chicago. The Hawks wore a black jersey with oddly angled stripes that did not go all the way around the arms and a larger number font. These jerseys featured a screened-on design on the crest that was made to have a ‘chrome’ sheen to it, a non-chain stitched tomahawk with a twill C on one shoulder, a faux neck tie-down and the Stadium Series logo patch on the other shoulder. Inside the jerseys sewn in the rear hem is a Meigray inventory tag.
- Both the Pens and Hawks wore 4 jerseys for the game. Typical for every outdoor game the league has held. The first jersey is worn in the pregame skate. That set of jerseys goes to the NHL Player’s Association and they occasionally pop up in charity auctions. The other 3 jerseys are worn one per period. One period’s jerseys go to the players. One period’s jerseys go to the team to do with whatever they want and the last jerseys go up for auction on NHL.com along with goal pucks, game pucks, etc.
- For this game, the team got the first period jerseys and the 2nd period jerseys went to NHL.com auction.
- The Hawks wore the Stadium Series patch, the Chrome crest and the larger number font on their practice jerseys the day before the game when they practiced outdoors. These jerseys were sold by the team.
- Hawks goalies had 3 jerseys issued to them and they change between periods. They wear the same 3 all season. A few other players also wore multiple jerseys – including Jonathan Toews.
