Notes:
- The team again sold jerseys at the Convention and sold via various gameworn groups and email lists. As with the previous 2 Cup Finals, the team did not sell any jerseys actually worn in the SCF games. A few backup jerseys were sold at the 2015 Convention.
- The regular season jerseys typically have 1 14-15 or 2 14-15 written in the neck to denote the set. Some jerseys may not have the writing in the neck, particularly if they were not on the roster to begin the set. They also have serial numbered set tags with the Indian Head and CR in a black oval for equipment staff member Clint Reif, who passed away during the season. RIP Clint.
- The Hawks wore a new set of jerseys denoted ‘P1 14-15’ in the neck. A second set of jerseys were given the SCF patch as backups. These were either set 2’s or jerseys worn earlier in the playoffs.
- The Blackhawks took part in the Winter Classic outdoor games in Washington on 1/1/15, their third outdoor games where they played the Wasington Capitals at Nationals Park in Washington D.C.. The Hawks wore a white jersey with the shoulder tommies moved to the mid-sleeve, similar to the mid to late 50’s Hawks jerseys. These jerseys also featured single color numbers (first time since 72-73) , a neck tie-down, “2015 NHL Winter Classic” screened inside the neck and the Winter Classic logo patch on the right shoulder. Inside the jerseys sewn in the rear hem is a Meigray inventory tag.
- Both the Hawks and Caps wore 4 jerseys for the game. Typical for every outdoor game the league has held. The first jersey is worn in the pregame skate. That set of jerseys goes to the NHL Player’s Association and they occasionally pop up in charity auctions. The other 3 jerseys are worn one per period. One period’s jerseys go to the players. One period’s jerseys go to the team to do with whatever they want and the last jerseys go up for auction on NHL.com along with goal pucks, game pucks, etc.
- For this game, the team got the third period jerseys and the 2nd (?) period jerseys went to NHL.com auction.
- The Hawks wore the Winter Classic patch on their practice jerseys the day before the game when they practiced outdoors. These jerseys were sold by the team.
- Hawks goalies had 3 jerseys issued to them and they change between periods. They wear the same 3 all season. A few other players also wore multiple jerseys – including Jonathan Toews.
