Notes:
- Worn full 79-80 and 80-81 seasons
- Worn at least a handful of games to start the 81-82 season when the new Sandow SK jerseys were not yet ready. The exact date of their first use is unknown, but the whites were confirmed to be used on Nov 4 1981. Previous to that date, they were not worn on Oct 23, 1981... So sometime within the week it seems they arrived for use.
- These were the final jersey sets to not have the manufacturer or Gunzo’s on the rear of the jersey.
- White set had two different styles of tagging, both versions pictured below.
- 79-80 set typically is all original
- 80-81 set typically has name and/or number change, sometimes the same number but taken off and resewn. They may have recycled many of the 79-80 set for the 80-81 & 81-82 seasons. Multiple Coane jerseys of the same player in the same color have rarely emerged, leading to this theory.
- Both the open C (no black material connecting the opening) and closed C are seen in these sets. This is the first time the closed C is used. Save certain jerseys in 83-84, it's the last time the open C is used.
- The red set's Indian Head logo is typically very high on the front of the jersey, nearly touching the neck.
- The 'dazzle' numbers begin with these jerseys. Up close, the twill on the numbers have a sparkle to them. All original jerseys do not seem to have the dazzle numbers, however examples with number changes do have the dazzle material. The dazzle material was used through 83-84.
- A couple variations in crests can also be found in the Coane jerseys. The line coming off the nose pointing toward the bottom of the crest is sometimes present, sometimes not. Additionally, the red feather sometimes has 2 white lined-sections, sometimes 3. Traditionally, they have 2.
- The Black hem stripes on the red jerseys are thicker than previous and later styles.

Dazzle vs matte numbers. Harder to tell in photos, but the 4 on the left above has a sparkle to it vs a 4 on the right from an earlier Wilson Dureen.
Variation of the line off the nose.
3 section red feather vs 2 section
Note the thicker stripes on the red jerseys.
