Notes:
- Last year of the Goalieman and the only time Gunzo’s is embroidered instead of screened.
- Born on tagging of ‘86 10’. This is the last season these born on tags were used.
- Video evidence shows that the team did not wear a set of mesh jerseys for the playoffs, although a set of mesh jerseys are in circulation with ultrafil nameplates. It is believed that this set was prepared for use in the 87 playoffs, but not used. Perhaps they saw action in the following preseason, but that is unknown. It’s believed one set of jerseys was worn in the regular season & continued into the playoffs.
- The Hawks removed the nameplates and reused many of these jerseys in the following year's preseason. In this instance, during the 87 preseason the Hawks did wear nameplates, so many of them have the nameplates worn by someone other than who wore them in 86-87. For instance, the #40 jerseys worn by Warren Skorodenski in 86-87 were worn by Darrin Pang in the 87 preseason and they still have the Pang nameplates. There are several examples of this for players who either changed numbers or were no longer on the team.
- These jerseys were originally obtained by Byron's Hockeyland.
