Notes:
- Wide-spread usage of the 90s CCM Crest begins, which will be used until 95-96.
- The attractive 42nd NHL All Star game patch was worn to commemorate the game being held that season at Chicago Stadium. The patch was worn beginning in the Preseason.
- A new set of jerseys was worn in the playoffs. This set is most likely recycled in the coming years.
- This patched set of jerseys was sold out of Bismark Catering or Hawkquarters. This is believed to be the first time that the sets were not sold to an independent dealer to market.
- For the first time, team Letters of Authenticity (LOAs) were issued with the jerseys when sold. These LOA’s were signed by Mike Keenan.
- Due to recycling, these jerseys are somewhat scarce.
- A few players wore older flat faced crest jerseys, notably Mike Peluso.
- Several fake AS patched jerseys were made up out of the Windsor area in this era of star Hawks players – Roenick, Chelios, Belfour, Larmer… these jerseys feature manufactured game wear and team repairs. Some even with forged Blackhawks LOA’s. Be careful and be sure to photomatch!
